Concrete blocks on land by the bridge

Concrete blocks on land by the bridge

The Parish Council were concerned like many other parishioners to see the arrival of concrete blocks blocking off access to land by the bridge. An email was sent to Derbyshire County Council to report that parishioners were not happy about this decision and to establish the reasoning behind this.

The Greenbank Leisure Centre is now ready to accept food parcels for repackaging and delivering food parcels. CVS will be handling logistics using their contacts, SDDC staff and, in time, volunteers.

Flooded or waterlogged roads happen when the amount of water on the road is more than the road drainage can cope with.
