South Derbyshire news update

Continue to be vigilant

There were more than 500 outbreaks or suspected outbreaks of COVID-19 recorded in offices in the second half of 2020, more than in supermarkets, construction sites, warehouses, restaurants and cafes combined.

New figures from Public Health England show more than 60 suspected outbreaks of COVID-19 were recorded in the first two weeks of the current lockdown in England.

Bin Collection update

Due to terrible road conditions the whole of Monday refuse collections have been suspended.

Weather permitting we will aim to collect the refuse on Saturday this week.

Please to leave bins out until they are collected.

It is hoped collections will resume tomorrow, unfortunately it will mean all collections are one day behind all week.
