NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council on 13 October 2020 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of A513 Croxall Road in Alrewas from its junction with Barley Green Lane to its junction with Croxall Road unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works; or is being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes. Pedestrian access will be available. An alternative route for traffic is available via A513 Croxall Road, A513 Burton Road, A513 Tamworth Road, A513 Comberford Road, A513 Elford Road, A513 Comberford Road, B5493 Ashby Road, A513 Upper Gungate, A513 Offa Drive, A513 Saxon Drive, A51 Bolebridge Street, A51 Anker Drive, A51 River Drive, A51 Bitterscote Drive, A5 Thomas Guy Way, A5 Fazeley to Weeford New Road, A5 Weeford Roundabout at junction with A38, A38 Weeford Road A5 to Swinfen Roundabout A5206, A38 Swinfen Roundabout at junction A5206, A38 Rykneld Street, A513 Alrewas Bypass from Kings Bromley Road to A38 at Croxall Road and vice versa. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10 January 2021. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, or until the repair works to the bridge parapets, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
