Park Repairs

During the week commencing 22 November 2021, weather permitting, contractors will be in the park repairing the area under the children's swings. Hopefully the wet pour patch will be a more permanent repair than in previous attempts.

The contractors will be barrier taping off the swings and putting up signage until the work has been completed and the patch has set.

Stream Clean

After some chasing by the Walton on Trent Parish Council the stream by the side of the entrance to the footpath just before the Bailey Bridge (Staffs side) has been cleaned out.

Hopefully, now that all the rubbish left by indiscriminate fly-tippers has been removed, it will allow the water to flow into the river reducing the amount of flooding.
